Free Box Fit Sessions for Parents /Carers
Our active sessions for Boxing are run by community boxing tutor called Kevin Nathaniel, who holds an England boxing tutor license which is a nationally recognised qualification. Kevin was also nominated as Coach of the year by London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
Parents worry themselves sick, fight for services, sacrifice careers, sink into debt, and rage at the injustice of it all. Parents of children with ASDs may feel down more often than most.
The sessions were planned to act as a pressure release valve for parents coping with the stresses associated with dealing with autism in their families. We’ve found however that the sessions help in many more ways.
Parents need this outlet to function and it has also been noted how physical activity increases well-being and beats depression and stress.

Also, the type of boxing taught is technique based and non-contact, so nobody actually gets hit (except Kevin occasionally) and warmups and stretching are part of every session.
Kevin is also a qualified first aider and has a current DBS.
